Grant Application and Letter of Instructions


The Kiwanis Club of Ann Arbor Foundation has provided the community with over $6 million in funding over the club’s 95 years. A significant part of the Foundation’s gifting is through community grants, which typically range from $250 to $2,500 to Ann Arbor area nonprofit organizations.

The deadline for the current cycle of community grants was March 16th. Applicants can anticipate receiving notification of funding on or after June 22nd. The next cycle of community grants is tentatively planned to occur during the Fall of 2018. Typically, the grant application, instructions, and a letter of invitation will be posted on the Kiwanis website in early October with the deadline being approximately the middle of November and funding notification made by late March 2019. The exact schedule and amount of funding available will be made by the Kiwanis Board of Directors early in the Fall of 2018.
