Who is the Kiwanis Club of Ann Arbor?

The Kiwanis Club of Ann Arbor meets Monday at 12:10 PM

Welcome to the Kiwanis Club of Ann Arbor. We are 130 members and 160 volunteers of the community, dedicated to serving the children of our community. In 2018 we provided over 30,000 volunteer hours.

We have been in Ann Arbor since May of 1921, and in recent years have supported well over 100 area agencies from the fruits of our labor at the Thrift Sale held every Friday and Saturday at our Kiwanis Center at 100 N. Staebler Rd. off W. Jackson Rd., one mile west of Zeeb, or one mile east of Baker Rd., Ann Arbor. We also have a history of long-standing and on-going support of:

  • Kiwanis Service Leadership and Youth Programs: Circle K, Key Club, K-Kids, and Aktion Club.
  • C. S. Mott Children’s Hospital Child & Family Services Program.
  • Meals on Wheels.
  • The Kiwanis Environmental Education Preserve (KEEP).
  • Warm the Children

Kiwanis International is a global organization of volunteers, dedicated to changing the world, one child and one community at a time. The Kiwanis Club of Ann Arbor Foundation is a non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation, and donations to the Thrift Sale and Foundation may be tax deductible.  To arrange pick-up of large items, please call 734-665-0450 or email donations@A2Kiwanis.org.

Proceeds from the Thrift Sale fund a wide variety of charities and social agencies in Ann Arbor and Washtenaw County. Since 1921 over $6,950,000 has been contributed to service agencies that help children and families. For more information, click below:
