The Kiwanis Club of Ann Arbor Music Scholarship Program
The Kiwanis Club of Ann Arbor has long recognized the musical arts as a significant element in every young student’s educational development.  Over twenty years ago our club started a program to offer summer music camp scholarships to  talented students in the Ann Arbor Public Schools who might otherwise be unable to afford such an experience. The first few years each scholarship was for $100, but over the years Kiwanis has been able to build the funding level so that it is now $500 for six students each year.
By 2019 the Kiwanis Club of Ann Arbor will have helped almost 100 young students improve their musical talents, and enjoy the fun of making new friends, as a result of its summer music camp scholarship program.  With lots of hard work and some good fortune, the members of Kiwanis will continue supporting the musical education and summer fun for many dozens more deserving students long into the future.
